Phillip M. Lichterman, 86, of Duluth, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital. He was born July 18, 1922 in Minneapolis, to Meyer and Selda (Gross) Lichterman. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He married Annette Borken in 1947. Phillip owned and operated Peter Pan Dry Cleaners from 1950-1985. He then worked at 8th St. Video from 1985-1997 and then from 1999-2005 he worked at 2nd St. Video in Superior, Wis. Phillip was a member of Temple Israel, B'nai B'rith, and the Masons. His work and family were his whole life. He was preceded in death by his parents. Phillip is survived by his wife, Annette; his son, Steven of Duluth; daughter, Susan (Dr. Douglas) Warsett of Florida; brother, Samuel (Pat) Lichterman of Minneapolis; sisters, Selda Futrowsky of Maryland, Carol Lichterman of Minneapolis, Phyllis Lichterman of Israel; two grandchildren, Kimberley Warsett of Boston, Mass., and Gili Warsett of N.Y.; and many relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE:1 p.m. Wednesday in Temple Israel, 1602 E 2nd St. Interment in Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, MN 55805, 218-727-3555.
